Mit nur rund 19 Millionen Stimmen gelang Erdogan die 50-%-Hürde zu überschreiten und bereits in der ersten Wahlrunde zum Präsident der Türkischen Republik gewählt zu werden. The Directive on Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFM) aims to create an effective and extensive regulatory framework for alternative investment fund managers within the EU, to advance the stability and transparency of investment vehicles. EU-Member-States have to transpose the AIFM-Directive (as a coordinated regulatory frame-work) into national legislation by 21 July 2013. For this reason, in 2012 Germany released a draft for an Act on the implementation of AIFM-Directive. The draft will create a new extensive law titles the ”German Investment Code” (Kapitalanlagegesetzbuch – GIC), which will comprise closed-end-funds, UCITS and other open-ended investment funds by one single act. Other EU countries are expected for follow Germany’s example and enact new laws soon.

Nachdem am Dienstag die US-Ratingagentur Standard & Poor’s den Ratingausblick für die mit BB eingestufte Türkei von Positiv auf Stabil gesenkt hat, reagierte gestern die Türkische Lira und die Türkische Börse mit Verlusten. Die Türkische Lira gab zum US-Dollar um rund 0,3 Prozent nach. Die IMKB-100, die am Dienstag aufgrund eins Feiertages geschlossen war, verlor am Mittwoch 1.067 Punkte, was einem Verlust von 1,78 Prozent entspricht.
